Breakthrough Product Overcomes Tennis and Pickleball Equipment’s Biggest Maintenance Flaw, Guaranteed to Extend Its Performance
(Centennial, Colorado) – EXO PROTEX, sports equipment life extenders, recently released a tennis and pickleball industry changing product. The patent-pending Metallic ShieldTM overcomes the longstanding problem of racket and paddle (R/P) frame wear from constant hardcourt contact. The shield’s superior material harnesses the full capabilities of an ultra-thin, paperclip-light, yet durable aluminum alloy.

EXO PROTEX is the world’s first company to introduce a R/P frame protection application manufactured from an advance lightweight metal material. The company stands behind the shield’s wearability with its unprecedented guarantee that the Metallic Shield will stop frame surface damage in high impact areas (11 and 1) for the life of a tennis racket and pickleball paddle. The lightweight material contours to all tennis racket and most pickleball paddle head frames and never needs to be replaced once attached – one and done!
“What we're offering to every tennis and pickleball player is the choice to keep their favorite racket and/or paddle in service for as long as they prefer or be forced to retire it because its performance was ground away,” said Patrick Callard, EXO PROTEX president and founder.
The Metallic Shield was created to ensure the extension of racket and paddle performance, condition, and value. The aluminum alloy material withstands 1000+ court contacts compared to polyurethane and thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) adhesive sticks and tapes; they can endure 3-4 contacts. Equally important, the shield is maintenance free. Never again are tennis and pickleball enthusiasts required to remove and add layers of ineffective material incapable of guaranteeing the stoppage of frame deterioration. Constant reviewing is no longer required.
EXO PROTEX Metallic Shields are easily attached to the topside of racket and paddle frames. Adhering two or four of the Metallic Shields (1g each) will add additional swing weight, similar to protective tapes. When two shields are attached to the top third of a tennis racket head the swing weight increases by 10 points. It is common practice to add a small amount of weight to various locations of a racket head to improve power and stability at impact.
The future of R/P frame protection is being defined by material effectiveness. Just look at how the material evolution of tennis rackets modernized the sport, transitioning from wood to aluminum to graphite/carbon fiber frames. Acceptance of product upgrades can be difficult for some but isn’t it good to know that there is a product available that guarantees to retain your favorite tennis racket and/or pickleball paddle investment value and performance.
